SUMMARY:Warwickshire Group: Our Voices
DESCRIPTION:All members welcome to join the Warwickshire Group on Wednesday 16 September 2026 from 7.30 – 9pm for ‘Our Voices’: a new event aimed at sharing ‘tasters’ of the varied work represented by the Warwickshire group. \nMembers can share a taster of their own work and will have 5 minutes to do so\, including a very brief introduction. Any form of writing is welcome. Celia Rees will chair the evening and control the timings! (For prose\, 5 minutes should allow for 500-550 words read at a steady pace.) \nDo come along\, even if you only want to listen. \nThe event will be in The Okens Room at The Oddfellows Hall\, 22 New Street\, Leamington Spa\, Warwickshire\, CV31 1HP. \nPlease let Celia know by Monday 14 September if you’d like to be on the list. She will sort out a running order. Her email is celiarees@btopenworld.com or use the WhatsApp group. \nThere won’t be formal feedback but feel free to chat about each other’s contributions during refreshments or after the event. \nThere will be a break at ‘half-time’ for tea\, coffee and biscuits. Please have some coins to contribute towards this. \nCelia also aims to run a brief discussion at the end of the evening about future events.
