SUMMARY:South East London Group: Dealing with Rejection
DESCRIPTION:Join the South East London Group on Friday 9 October from 16:00 for our next in person meet up.  \nIn this meeting\, Dena Attar will introduce the topic of “Dealing with Rejection” or to put a more positive spin on it “Dealing with getting negative or no feedback” from agents or publishers.  \nWhat do you do with bad news when you get it\, and how do you handle no news at all? We will discuss what not to do and who not to blame. It may not be all bad – so what’s good about it? What can we learn? \nWe will meet at Bell House\, 27 College Road\, Dulwich\, London SE21 7BG. Ring on the bell and we’ll let you in. Refreshments will be DIY\, so please bring your own drinks and snacks. \nAll members welcome! \nLocal Groups meetings are run by our wonderful volunteers\, who kindly give their time to support their local writing community. As such\, please be mindful of limitations on their time and capacity for running the group. \nTo attend the meeting\, click the Going button below and fill out the RSVP form. If you do not receive a confirmation email\, or have trouble signing up\, please contact localgroups@societyofauthors.org.
