Bristol Group meet-up

Join the Bristol Group on Wednesday 26 March from 1.30pm for this friendly meet up. One or two of our members will give brief 5-10 minute presentations on the theme of writing for different media. Do we use the same techniques and craft for magazines, scripts, non- fiction? We’ll have time to exchange experiences, share news and chat.

We’ll meet upstairs at Sparks, 78 Broadmead, Bristol, BS1 3DS. Sparks is a vibrant alternative department store set in the old M&S building. It’s a vast space so please leave plenty of time to explore and find our meeting area.

The entrance to our meeting space is up a flight of stairs via the ‘Artists Entrance’ black door to the right of the main store frontage on Broadmead. On the first floor please make your way to The People’s Theatre area.

The lift will be available for those who need to use it. The venue manger is aware that we are likely to need it and will be there to unlock it. Contact details will be sent in a later email in case they are needed on the day. The toilets are located on the 2nd floor.

There is a local cafe towards the middle of the ground floor serving tea, coffee and cakes. All authors, scriptwriters, translators and illustrators from Bristol and beyond welcome!
