Belfast & Beyond meet-up
29 March @ 14:00 - 16:00 GMT
Free
Join us at our next coffee catch up on Saturday 29 March from 2pm as we continue to develop our vibrant SoA network across Belfast & Beyond!
We aim to bring together writers, illustrators and literary translators to find inspiration, support and community. These meet-ups are a friendly, informal opportunity to connect and chat with local SoA members.  Who are they? What are they up to?
SoA members are encouraged to come along and expand their community in a supportive environment. At these meet-ups members can hear about the work of others, share their own thoughts or simply chat about the weather. On the day just look out for your local SoA host Frances McVeigh and other members who will be stopping by for a chat. All welcome!
We’ll meet at Starbucks, 90 Lisburn Road, Belfast, BT9 6AGÂ – you will find it on the corner of the Lisburn Road and Elmwood Avenue which is beside the City Hospital and not far from Queens University.
To join us, click the Going button below and enter your details in the RSVP form. You are welcome to just drop by on the day and say ‘hello’. There is no formal agenda, this is simply a casual opportunity to meet up and connect. Members of the local NI group will be there to welcome and support you.
With your help we would like to roll out local coffee catch ups on a more regular basis across Northern Ireland for 2025. Are you based in Antrim or Down and would you like to host one in your local area? Then reach out to Elsa Woodmeade at localgroups@societyofauthors.org for more information.
