Jane has lived and worked all over the world, including Africa, the Arabian Gulf and Papua New Guinea. Most recently she worked in Geneva, where she was Head of the UK Government's Liaison Office at CERN, home of the Large Hadron Collider. She left there in 2013 and now devotes most of her time to writing.
Jane joined the SoAiS Committee in 2019 and took over as Treasurer in September 2020.
