This month the group will be joined by Susan Greenberg for a session on editing: from first draft to final proof.
Join us at The Lord Palmerston pub in the Lords Room upstairs from 6.30pm for a chat over drinks before the talk begins at 7pm.
Susan Greenberg is part of a generation of ‘pracademics’ who brought their professional experience into higher education, when training for writing, journalism and publishing made the move to the university. She teaches classes in the practice of narrative non-fiction at the University of Roehampton, and since September 2018 also heads a new MA in Publishing. Greenberg completed a PhD in Publishing at UCL and supervises doctoral work in both publishing studies and in creative non-fiction. Previously, she worked as a reporter, writer and editor for magazines, websites, and newspapers, including several years as a correspondent in central and eastern Europe. Her latest book is A Poetics of Editing (Palgrave Macmillan, 2018).
Please let organiser Sam Collett know if you can make it and send her a short 50 word bio about yourself if you're happy to share with the group for networking.
