**Please note the change in venue**

All lawyers write for their living, but some write more than others - and for a different audience. As the trade union for all authors, the Society organises several specialist groups, and now a Lawyers' Group joins the list.

As lawyers and authors - whether writing legal textbooks, articles or even fiction - we have common interests and concerns that are not always shared by other authors, and the Group will give us a forum for discussion and a way to make our views known. It will also give the Society and its members access to valuable expertise.

All lawyers who are members of the Society, and those who are published authors and therefore eligible for membership, are cordially invited to the group's inaugural reception at Ye Olde Cock Tavern on 18th October.

We will be meeting from 6.30pm.
