Sue Reid Sexton

The universe is made of stories, not atoms. (Rukeyser)

I write fiction and non-fiction and I ghost-write for other people too.

I have two novels, both historical fiction, about the bombing of Clydebank during WW2 and its aftermath there and in the surrounding area including Carbeth an usual hut community in the hills, and Greenock which was known at that time as Port Number 1. The novels are Mavis's Shoe and Rue End Street.

I was recently lucky enough to become a Hawthornden Fellow.
